I use Microsoft Excel for doing most of my math for my job. But I recently discovered some free online tools that could save me a lot of time. EZAnalyze is one online tool that bypasses a lot of steps of an Excel spreadsheet to calculate standard deviations, mean, medians, mode, and grafting data. Analyze-It is another tool that can calculate ANOVA and chi-squared by simply pressing an equation button. OZGRID is another free program that has the added benefit of 24/7 tech support, which can come in handy when working on something at the last minute (we’ve all pulled an all-nighter at some point).
